Nottinghamshire's SEND Local Offer
Nottinghamshire's SEND Local Offer provides a central, accessible source of information about the support, services and opportunities available for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. It brings together key details on education, health, social care, community groups and inclusive leisure activities, helping families make informed decisions about what matters most from early years provision to school and college options, health services, respite support and specialist activities.
The Local Offer also supports young people preparing for adulthood, including independent living, transport, social participation, further education, apprenticeships and supported employment. Its role is to signpost families to the right services at the right time, ensuring clarity and choice. The Local Offer continues to develop in response to feedback from parents, carers and young people, keeping information accurate and relevant.
